Résumé Writing

As with all our services, we promise to provide you with a top quality result that will significantly increase your chances of getting to the interview.  Using the combination of documentation you provide and consultation, we will produce the résumé that you need. 

The consultation process is normally done by phone, so that you never need to leave the comfort of your home or office.  For local clients who prefer to meet in person, we can accomodate your preference in our office.

As with all documents we create for you, the final résumé will be in Word format.  We can also meet your needs for plain text résumés or other formats.

Cover Letters

At L.J. Murphy Consulting, we can compliment your résumé with a cover letter which will both demonstrate your suitability for the job and serve as an example of your writing skills.  We will cater to your needs, whether you need one cover letter or several versions to complement the résumé.

Reference Page

To round out your paperwork, we can also prepare a professional looking reference page, designed to specifically match your résumé.

Follow-up / Thank-you Letters

Give your interview and résumé a final boost with a thank-you letter.  This may be just the thing that tips the balance in your favour.

Résumé Tutoring

If you already have a résumé, we can provide a one hour tutoring/counselling session.  This session may be just what you need to change your résumé from average to distinctive.

Interview Coaching

A one hour session will put you on track for your next interview. Reality is, one person is selected while many get rejected, primarily because of their lack of interview skills.  Most people never know what they did wrong during an interview.  A session with us will help identify your strengths and weakness.

Employers recognize those who are unprepared for an interview. This session is one of the most effective ways to get prepared. On completion of this session, you will leave with improved confidence, skills and knowledge of what to say during your interview.
